Who runs this site
oakwindstudio.com is run by OakWind Studio, LLC, a Texas limited liability company based in Fort Worth. Questions: hello@oakwindstudio.com, or text or call (817) 214-6300.
What the page collects
The page sends nothing you type anywhere. It has no forms that post to a server.
- The trade, town and ad budget you type into the text box and the price calculator stay in your browser. They only build the text message and the numbers on your screen.
- The fonts, images and scripts come from oakwindstudio.com. No Google Fonts or other outside files are loaded, apart from the two measurement tools below, and those only on the live site.
What your browser keeps
The page keeps three small notes in your browser and never sends them.
ow-compose, for this tab only- Your business or trade, your town, the "Add my numbers" box and the budget you typed, so a reload doesn't wipe them. Gone when you close the tab.
ow-home-y, for this tab only- How far down the page you were, so Back brings you to the same spot. Gone when you close the tab.
ow-texted, until you clear it- The time you last opened a text to Colby from this site. For 14 days after, the page swaps its usual line for "Texted Colby already? If you haven't heard back, call (817) 214-6300."
Texting and calling
The Text buttons open your phone's messaging app with a short message started for you. Nothing sends until you press send. Your text goes to Colby's cell, (817) 214-6300.
We use your number and message only to reply and to talk with you about your shop. We may keep them in our customer records, which a software provider hosts for us.
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.
If we ever move texting to a business texting service, this notice will say so first.
The Call links open your phone's dialer. The email address opens your email app.
Measurement tools
This site has two measurement tools, the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics 4. They load only on the live site (oakwindstudio.com and www.oakwindstudio.com). They never load on previews or copies of the page, and they wait until the page has finished loading.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, neither tool loads.
When they run, they record:
- that the page was viewed;
- a tap on Text, Call or the email address, with the part of the page it was in;
- in Google Analytics only, opening the Ads Manager screenshot or the monthly report.
Meta and Google receive what their tools normally collect from a browser, such as its IP address and the page it's on, and may set cookies. Their policies cover that: Meta's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.
When they run, Meta and Google may collect information about your activity on this and other websites over time, and use it for measurement and ads. You can opt out of interest-based ads at optout.aboutads.info and in your Meta and Google ad settings.
We don't use Google Analytics advertising features.
Booking a call
"Book a 15-minute call" opens cal.com/oakwindstudio in a new tab. Cal.com runs that page, under Cal.com's privacy policy.
If you book a call, Cal.com sends us what you enter on its booking page, such as your name, email and the time you picked. We use it to hold and prepare for that call.
The links to mountaincoffee.co and climatecontingencyinstitute.org open those sites, under their policies.
Who receives information
Besides Meta, Google and Cal.com, the companies that host this website, our phone service, our email and our customer records handle your information only to run those services for us.
Selling
We don't sell your phone number, your texts or your emails. When the Meta Pixel runs, Meta can use your visit for ad measurement and targeting, as described above.
Your choices
- Clear this site's data in your browser to remove the three notes above.
- Turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser, and neither measurement tool loads.
- Ask by text or email, and within 30 days we'll delete any text or email you sent.
Children
This site is for business owners. It isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.
